IPV Regeneration, Crewing and Sea Trials

In a first for the New Zealand Defence Force, Kōtare provided a commercial crew for two Inshore Patrol Vessels that were being sold to the Irish Naval Service. This involved working with the clients, local equipment providers, Lloyd’s Register classification society, and a multitude of other stakeholders. Kōtare project managed returning these vessels to active service with commercial partners, establishing maintenance routines and conducting equipment recommissioning and familiarisation. Throughout the project, Kōtare was responsible for overseeing both the physical security of the vessels and the personnel security of the civilian crews, maintaining strict controls to safeguard assets, information, and people.
