Kōtare recently delivered a Protective Security Requirements (PSR) Self Assessment (SA) for a large State Owned Enterprise (SOE), aligned with the New Zealand Government’s protective security guidelines and associated standards.

The PSR SA involved document reviews, interviews, observations ‘at the coal face’ with several site visits and subsequent analysis and reporting. While the primary deliverables were the completed SA form, a detailed companion report and briefing session were also delivered. These have helped the SOE establish its protective security baseline position.

In typical Kōtare fashion, we have also provided ‘after care' services. This included follow-up support through threat process assessments, tailored recommendations, and roadmaps for implementing an improvement plan.

Kōtare brings the capability, credibility, and experience to conduct PSR reviews across all four protective security dimensions: Governance, Personnel, Information (including Cyber), and Physical security.
